World Oceans Day

This World Oceans Day, we’re supporting the global movement to send an important message to world leaders.

Leading scientists worldwide have determined that we need to protect at least 30% of our blue planet by 2030.

We’ve signed the petition and encourage you to call on our leaders to act now to protect our blue planet.

Together We Can!

On #WorldOceansDay, and every day, we’re committed to Leave It Better – for People, Places and Planet.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

We’ve signed the petition supporting critical action on the World Oceans Day 30x30 initiative.

We’ve increased the amount of recycled materials in our products this year, with the outer shell and insulation now made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. Using these materials avoids the use of animal products and repurposes materials that would otherwise be headed for landfill, our natural environments and our oceans.

We’re continuing our journey to eliminate and minimise waste by maintaining and building on our standard practices of avoiding all animal products, delivering to our customer free of plastics, using recycled and compostable materials and ontributing regularly to organisations and campaigns aimed at creating a better planet for us all.

We have been working hard on some exciting new partnerships designed to minimise fashion and apparel industry waste. We’ll be announcing more on this soon.

And of course, we always, Take 3 for the Sea.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

You can get involved in a number of ways, today and every day.

Spread the word on your socials, with family and friends, the team at WOD have a stack of great resources to download and share, here.

Send a friendly request to your favourite places to shop and encourage them to eliminate single use plastics. A great compostable alternative is available through our pals at The Better Packaging Co.
