We are often asked if there is somewhere that our jackets can be seen, tried on or picked up. So we are excited to announce that our jackets are now in store at Wheel Heat Wonthaggi! This is our absolute favourite shop in Wonthaggi, with a fantastic range of bikes, scooters and accessories! We designed our jackets with adventure and action in mind, so Wheel Heat is the perfect place to go to check out a Norte jacket, a shiny new bike or scooter, or a new helmet! Oh and being winter, we must not forget to tell you about the eco friendly heaters in store at Wheel Heat. The timber pellet heaters you will find in store use only timber pellets as fuel. These high density timber pellets are made from the timber off-cuts produced by industry. What a great way to heat the home in winter and look after our precious environment!

Proudly Supporting Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre
At Norte, we are proud to support an organisation that does valuable work with women and children who are victims of family violence. Being a small business that is passionate about celebrating childhood, the outdoors and fun times, we are acutely aware that for some mothers and their children, life is not so simple, or safe. Upon our launch in Autumn, we were proud to be able to support Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre with a donation of our jackets. Thanks to our supporters, we have had early successes that have enabled us to make a second donation to Safe Steps this winter. We have been thrilled to receive feedback from the dedicated staff working in refuges, telling us that the simple act of handing out a warm jacket has put a smile on the face of some little kiddies having a tough time.

Norte has enabled us to work closely with so many of our family and lifelong friends, there's a world of creative people out there and we just love having them on the Norte Team. In this issue, we meet the wonderful mum and bub team of Alex and Parker (you may know them as @little_pq)... So Alex...
Q: Tell us a bit about your lovely family?
A: Our family consists of myself, my husband David and baby Parker who is 9 months old. Parker was born 8 weeks premature due to severe pre eclampsia. Oh! I cant forget our fur family members Chalk, Chester and Charlie our dogs and our cat Lucy.
Q: How did you find out about Norte?
A: We are so lucky to have heard about Norte over a year ago when it was just in its design phase. Amy from Norte is Parker's godmother so we are a part of the Norte family!
Q: Parker has a room full of Norte gear, what's your absolute favourite item?
A:My favourite product would have to be the Ozone jacket as the blue is such a beautiful colour and brings brightness to our monochrome outfits!
Q:What's your fave holiday destination?
A: Echuca for a summer camping holiday by the river! I cant wait to take Parker soon.
Q: We're all about Mission Play. How does Parker like to spend his time playing?
A: Parker is still little but loves being outdoors taking in the big wide world. Swings are a huge favourite and of course he loves exploring the natural environment.
Q: In the wonderful world of Instagram, who are some of your absolute favourites to follow?
A: Apart from @norte_wear my fave shops on Instagram would have to be @hipsqueeks with their funky threads, @modernmonty who have gorgeous wooden teethers and toys as well as @gusandmecreations who have awesome prints. I also have to mention 2 of my fave people @my3ratbagz3614 who has beautiful photographs and gorgeous children and finally, @ki.ki_baby_fashion who is so hip and cool and yet an amazing support to other shops and reps!
